YOUR PREMIER SERVICE PACKAGE
for Oxbridge Application
Your Premier Service package will be perfectly adapted to you needs, budget, and time commitments. Below we’ve prepared three different packages to give you an idea of what might be included in your Premier Service, or to give you a base package to customise to your needs.
What can I expect?
Consultation session
In this hour or hour and a half long session, you and your Oxbridge applications tutor will get to know each other, and work out what you’d like to cover during your time together. This session may include a mock interview or some past questions, but don’t feel like you need to prepare.
Tutorial sessions
These one-to-one sessions last around an hour, and are where you may discuss subject knowledge, debate difficult topics, or work on particular skills relating to your discipline. These are based on the Oxbridge ‘tutorial’ or ‘supervision’.
Mock exam/ interview sessions
Your tutor will use real past questions from interviews or entry exams, and these sessions will be spaced throughout your time with us to allow you to improve and take on your tutor’s feedback. Mocks may be done in ‘exam conditions’ or more casually.
Personal statement/ essay writing sessions
If you haven’t submitted your statement yet, your tutor will help you form and refine your final statement, advising you on what admissions tutors look for. Even if you’ve submitted, they can still help you improve your written communication and essay skills in the style of the ‘Oxbridge essay’.
Career planning sessions
It can be hard to know what your options are before you’ve started your degree, so chatting with an experienced tutor can be a great way to start thinking, or even planning your career path.
Course/ college/ university choice sessions
Your tutor will help you work out which subject, university, and college is right for you.
Parent sessions
We believe it’s important to engage parents and guardians in students’ learning. These sessions might involve helping establish healthy routines or work/life balance, and thinking about how parents can support their child’s learning.
One day interview prep workshop
Part of the Platinum Premier Service, this jam-packed weekend of workshops, talks, activities, and individual sessions is designed to prepare you as much as possible for your Oxbridge interviews. You’ll work with your tutor, past Oxbridge Admission Tutors and other students to improve your style.
Finishing session
In this final session, your tutor will make sure you’ve covered everything you wanted to work on together, and will help you think about your next steps, like a study schedule or set of academic targets.
